Daily Maintenance and Experience of Air Compressors

I am an air compressor maintenance technician, and my daily job is to ensure that these "industrial hearts" can beat steadily. In my opinion, the maintenance of an air compressor is like taking care of an old friend, requiring care and patience.
Every day at work, I first conduct a visual inspection of the air compressor. Seemingly simple to wipe the body and check the connections of various components, it can promptly detect some potential problems. For example, once during the wiping process, I noticed a slight oil leakage at a pipeline connection. If not dealt with in a timely manner, it could lead to a bigger malfunction. I am well aware that the intake filter is like the "mask" of an air compressor. If it gets clogged, the air compressor will have difficulty breathing. So, I will regularly disassemble and clean the intake filter to ensure that it can filter out impurities in the air properly.
The maintenance of lubricating oil is also a key focus of my work. I will regularly check the oil level and quality. Every time I see clear and appropriate lubricating oil flowing smoothly inside the air compressor, I feel at ease. Once I find that the oil quality has deteriorated, I will immediately replace it and strictly select the appropriate lubricating oil model according to the equipment requirements. I remember there was an air compressor that suffered severe wear and tear on its internal components due to long-term use of inferior lubricating oil, making maintenance both time-consuming and laborious. Since then, I have placed greater emphasis on quality control of lubricants.
The inspection of the cooling system cannot be ignored. I will check if the cooling fan is running properly and clean the dust and dirt on the surface of the cooler. Once, an air compressor automatically shut down due to a clogged cooler and high temperature. After emergency handling, I deeply realized the crucial role of the cooling system in the normal operation of the air compressor. In daily maintenance work, I always remind myself that every small detail is related to the overall health of the air compressor. Only by doing these basic tasks well can the air compressor operate stably and reliably, and safeguard the production of the enterprise.
